Gratitude Day #18
Today I am grateful for grandchildren.
And, we have a bunch of them! And, they're all perfect.
Some of these pictures are from years ago, for in today's world I think it's best for their parents to be the ones to post current photos.
But, they make me smile.
They make my heart rush.
When we make a visit, we can hardly wait to get there!
We come bearing presents, but they give us so much more.
I guess we love being with them so much because it gives us a second chance to be a parent figure...sort of.
They are in good families, and for that we are very grateful. It can be an ugly world sometimes, and they need a solid home to escape from the ugliness.
We love each one dearly. And, like I said...they're perfect.
